Combining her background in fine art and interior design, and working out of her New Orleans studio, Julie created a collection of bespoke lighting that she produced for over 25 years and caught the attention of Visual Comfort, a leader in the lighting industry. Working closely with their product development team, Julie discovered that this new collection could rival the beauty and intricacy of the products she had been making and still feel like her own while being available to more people. This partnership has freed Julie to focus on the creative again because she is able to work with a talented team on the technical and manufacturing side.
